Description
Three ounces is the number that matters here. At that weight there is no decision to make about whether to bring it, which is exactly what a spare bag should be. Folded it goes down to 4.7 by 2.8 inches and fits in a jacket pocket, then opens out to a genuine 20 liters, enough for a day of walking, a market haul, or the things that did not fit in the case on the way home. The nylon is waterproof, so a shower does not become a problem for whatever is inside. The straps are wide rather than the thin cord you usually get on a packable, which is the difference between carrying it for an hour and carrying it all day. It packs back down as fast as it opens.
